Conan The BarbarianBattle-born to a dying mother and

seeking vengeance — and to fulfil a
  hitherto-unknown destiny to prevent a
  malevolent warlord and his sorceress
  daughter from releasing a terrifying
  evil upon the world
...”

IN THE DARK EMPIRE OF ACHERON, cruel necromancers had crafted a mask from the bones of kings to bring the dead back to life, using the pure blood of their daughters. The mask released an unspeakable evil, giving a forbidden power to mortals creating chaos. The civilised world was enslaved by Acheron and the Barbarian tribes rose up against them.

The Barbarian tribes shattered the mask and Acheron fell. Each of the tribes was given a single shard to protect and keep safe. But a prophecy told of a man who wanted to rule the world and who would seek out the pieces of the mask. The dawn of the Hyborian Age was a brutal and dangerous time and it would take a special kind of warrior to rid the world of the evil in the heart of such a man.

Born on the battlefield as his mother Fialla draws her last breath, a young boy (Leo Howard) begins to prove himself as a warrior to his father Corin (the wonderful Ron Pearlman: Hellboy) before witnessing both his father's dreadful death and the destruction of his village, Cimmeria, at the hands of evil warlord Khalar Zym (Stephen Lang: Avatar) and his sorceress daughter Marique (Rose McGowan: Plant Terror) — who are searching for the missing pieces of the shattered mask in order to harness its power.

Alone in the world and grown up, Conan The Barbarian (the hunky Jason Momoa: Game Of Thrones) becomes a formidable warrior with vengeance on his mind and an as-yet-unknown destiny to fulfil: to save the world and to rescue the pure-blood.

Conan has fallen in with a band of pirates, led by Artus (Nonso Azonie), who found him as a boy, picking pockets in Zamora. The world he has come to is a dangerous and unforgiving place, but Conan is determined to find the sadistic warlord responsible for the death of his father and his tribe's destruction.

At the Zingaran Colony, overseen by Khalar Zym's brutal captain Lucius (Steven O'Donnell), Conan learns that his prey is in the Forbidden Forest, returning to his stronghold at Khor Kalba. Among the slaves is a man called Ela-Shan (Saïd Taghmaoui), who becomes part of Conan's destiny.

Obsessed with Acheronian sorcery, Khalar Zym is hunting for the pure-blood and remains obsessed with the death of his wife in the forests of Ophir where all the nations of Hyboria turned against him. He raids the Shaipur Monastery, where the Master insists that none of the pure-bloods remain.

But a young woman, Tamara (Rachel Nichols), has been sent to safety with the monks at Hyrkania. She is being pursued by Remo (Milton Welsh), one of Khalar Zym's men. Her path is yet to cross with that of Conan, who moves ever-closer to his fate; across extraordinary landscapes, fighting terrifying monsters, other-worldly figures, sorcerers and murderous enemies as he searches for the Angel of Death. His quest: to avenge his father and his tribe, no matter what.
