If
Steven Seagal is your man,
youll be hooked by Deadly
Crossing as the softly-spoken
tough guy rampages across
the screen, stamping out drug
dealers and dispensing his own
unique style of justice... AT
THE HEADQUARTERS OF THE SIU (Special Investigative Unit) in Seattle, Washington,
an elite undercover squad of cops led by Elijah Kane (the wonderful Steven Seagal)
plans to bring an influx of violent and ruthless heroin dealers and suppliers
to justice.
They arrest and question Thomas (Ben Cotton), who is known to Kane and who appears
to have some connections with the narcotics gang, which is believed to have
been responsible for the slaughter of a Chinese storekeeper and his wife.
But their young daughter has escaped the killers by hiding and she can identify
one of them as a police officer. Kane follows the trail and from a gang living
at the former immigrant Camp Harmony on the outskirts of the city he is led
to Crystal (Sarah Jane Redmond), the manager of a lap-dancing club, and on to
the wealthy, cold-blooded Russian drugs baron Nikoli (Gil Bellows).
Kane, supported by his equally-determined crack team of law enforcers, will
use any means necessary to clean up the streets of Seattle even if it
means putting his own neck on the line.
The team is pitted against drug dealers and suppliers who are even more ruthless
than the tough Kane and a massacre of the dealers proves the extremes that the
suppliers will go to in order to keep their lucrative business operating. If
Kane is to root out the drug barons, it can only end in one way; with a no-holds-barred
shootout that will result in a bloodbath as the body count rises.
Another perfect vehicle for the likeable Steven Seagal, Deadly Crossing
keeps violence to a minimum and benefits from a hard-working, effective and
talented cast.
