Fun
and games with the vampire as
the monsters take a rare vacation away
from the castle on board a cruise ship
run by the very suspect human captain
who appears to take a shine to the
count in the hilarious and well-observed
animation Hotel Transylvania 3... DECIDING IT IS TIME that the monsters who work at Hotel Transylvania
especially her father Count Dracula (voice of Adam Sandler)
took a vacation, Mavis (voice of Selena Gomez) organises a luxury cruise on
a haunted monster ship.
A monster wedding takes place at Hotel Transylvania, with a very nervous
bride being reassured by Drac, who has become extremely stressed and desperately
in need of a little rest and relaxation himself.
Taking along her husband Jonathan (Andy Samberg) and their young son Dennis
(Asher Blinkoff), Mavis also invites the rest of the Drac-Pack, including Frankenstein
"Frank" (Kevin James), Wanda Werewolf (Molly Shannon) and Granpa Vlad (Mel Brooks).
The high jinks start on their way to join the ship when their Gremlin Air plane
ditches in the sea!
Hotel
Transylvania 3
is delightfully batty
a graveyard smash!
Drac
leads his family and friends on board to be greeted by a very fishy crew and
the mysterious Captain Ericka (Kathryn Hahn), who has a terrible secret
or, that is, terrible for the count, who has stars in his eyes… the monster-kind.
The unthinkable has happened and the vampire falls in love with a human. Poor
Drac has not had a date for one hundred years…
As the voyage goes on it appears that Captain Ericka is as smitten as Drac,
but will he find out who she really is?
With his family and friends in tow, things are bound to get a little batty.
Sure enough, the monsters are enjoying all that the on-board entertainment has
to offer, from monster volleyball to colossus sized buffets and exotic excursions
and topping up their moontans. Dennis has also smuggled his giant pet puppy
on board.
With visits to The Bermuda Triangle and Atlantis, Drac is oblivious to a hidden
enemy and begins to unwind and have fun, little realising that the cruise is
bringing the dangerous Instrument of Destruction the key to the demise
of all monsters ever closer.
A must-have family comedy, this monster offering is delightfully batty and a
graveyard smash! (With reference to The Monster Mash sung by Bobby Pickett
and written by Leonard Capizzi and Bob Pickett). Check out the fabulous Vegas-style
disco venue and the underwater Atlantis.
The third film in the monster franchise has attracted top reviews and you are
invited to join your favourite monster family on the haunted luxury cruise;
so slap on the mooncream, sit back and let it all happen.
