Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle
Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle “Paying homage to the 1995 Robin
  Williams epic adventure comedy Jumanji
comes a welcome sequel with a brand
new cast and new enemies, following the
adventures of four high school students
  who discover they have accidentally
become part of a board game in Jumanji:
  Welcome To The Jungle
...”

FOUR HIGH SCHOOL YOUNGSTERS given a detention that includes sorting out a junk room in preparation for new computers come across an unknown board game called Jumanji on an old computer and, led by geek gamer Spencer (Alex Wolff), decide to take time out to play in the compulsive Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle.

Spencer and fellow student and ace football player Fridge (Ser'Darius Blain) have been caught cheating on an essay; while pretty, popular but self-obsessed Bethany (Madison Iseman) was talking on her mobile during class and eternal wallflower Martha (Morgan Turner) refuses to take part in the PT lessons she considers a waste of time.

Jumanji:
Welcome To The Jungle
is a riveting
and hilarious adventure
in the dangerous
and exciting world of a
computer game that
becomes a terrifying
reality...”
Twenty years before, a student from their high school disappeared. But they have no idea that they are about to find out why…

As they begin to play Jumanji, they are invited to adopt a part to play. Bethany chooses middle-aged Professor "Shelly" Van Pelt (Jack Black: Goosebumps), believing Shelly is a woman and is horrified to find herself transformed into a male professor called Sheldon; lightly-built Spencer opts for tough-guy adventurer Dr Smoulder Bravestone (Dwayne Johnson: The Fast and The Furious franchise); Martha becomes gifted badass warrior Ruby Roundhouse (Karen Gillan: Guardians of the Galaxy) and Fridge is genius Professor Oberon (Kevin Hart: Central Intelligence).

Sucked into the game for real, the four are astonished as they land in the middle of the jungle where a Land Rover appears driven by guide Nigel (Rhys Darby), who tells them about the history of the land of Jumanji and gives them clues about the tasks they have to face in order to complete the game so that they can return to the real world.

In order to survive Jumanji, the four are forced to stick together, working as a team to solve the mysteries of the Jumanji game; fighting a deadly foe that seems to be unstoppable. Each has a key part to play; each has discoveries to make about him or herself while dealing with herds of wild White Rhinoceros, giant man-eating hippos and poisonous snakes.

Against all the odds, they must go on a perilous adventure to find a priceless jewel and return it to the Jaguar Shrine, beating Jumanji and taking on seemingly-impossible heroics as they walk in the footsteps of Alan Parrish (Robin Williams).

But one of the game-players is missing: Jefferson "Seaplane" McDonough (Nick Jonas: Scream Queens), who as teenager Alex disappeared twenty years earlier from the town and was not seen again until he turns up to join the players. Time is of the essence as each has only three lives to play with; and with every disaster one life is gone.

Arch villain Van Pelt (a brilliantly-menacing Bobby Cannavale: Ant Man) is determined to find the jewel first and sends a team of motorcycle-riding assassins to kill the game-players.
