DEJECTED AND TROUBLED BRUCE WAYNE, The Bat Man (Ben Affleck), is finding
his faith restored in humanity and, inspired by Superman Clark Kent (Henry Cavill),
whose selfless sacrifice went beyond the expected actions of a superhero, begins
to get back his strength and determination to keep the world safe.
Batman is preparing for a universal catastrophe of apocalyptic proportions and
needs a team of warriors, taking advice from the wise Alfred (Jeremy Irons).
He convinces Wonder Woman, Diana Prince (Gal Gadot), to join him and to help
form an unprecedented team of superheroes — a Justice League.

He
visits a village protected by Aquaman Arthur Curry (Jason Momoa) to persuade
the Atlantian to join him; before seeking the tragic Flash, Barry Allen (Ezra
Miller) and Cyborg Victor Stone (Ray Fisher).
Five superheroes unite to fight for the world of men. But one of them is missing
— the much-needed Superman, whose death had such an affect on Batman, and
for which he feels responsible. Could there be a way for Superman to return?
Diana has seen the warning fire from the tribe of Amazons to which she belongs,
led by Queen Hippolyta (Connie Nielsen), and she knows that the invasion of
Earth has begun. There is no time to lose.
Mankind is facing a terrible danger; an ancient enemy of immense power that
threatens to bring darkness to the world. The giant monster Steppenwolf (voice
of Ciaran Hinds) brings with him an army of parademons, demonic flying creatures
that feed on fear, destroying everyone and everything that stands in their path
and presenting the greatest challenge yet for the superheroes.
The ancients knew of three sources of immense energy: one is being protected
by the Amazons; the second by the Atlantians. The third is in the hands of Man.
If the three boxes come together, there will be an intense surge of energy and
Steppenwolf, who hopes to use this to instigate his reign of evil, has already
found two.
Superman was a beacon of hope to the world and without him the Justice League
is at a disadvantage. As superheroes, Amazons, Atlantians and Man fight together
against the deadly force, it may already be too late to save a world on the
brink of destruction.
