Six
months after Doomsday with
Superman believed dead and his body
yet to be found, Earth is vulnerable
to a threat from a new alien attack and
unknown Supermen have appeared
who may yet prove to be far from friendly
in the highly watchable animé Reign of
the Supermen... REPORTER
CLARK KENT IS MISSING and Lois Lane (voice of Rebecca Romijn: X-Men; The
Librarians) is grieving. Along with the rest of the world, The Daily
Planet has been rocked to hear of the death of Superman (voiced by Jerry
O'Connell: Carter; Bravo's Play by Play; Stand By Me), leaving an enormous
gap in Earth's defence system. Without Superman, who will protect Mankind?
Nobody has seen Superman's body and Lois clings to the hope that he is still
somewhere in the universe and that he will return to Earth. Then reports begin
to filter in of a new band of Supermen, all battling to be the reincarnation
of the Man of Steel. Just who are these new guys and why are they here?

Lois
is comforted by Clark's parents Jonathan (Paul Eiding) and Martha Kent (Jennifer
Hale) before being sent to cover a story about the new supermen. She seeks out
Wonder Woman (Rosario Dawson: Sin City; Rent; Daredevil) from the Justice
League, but the Amazon knows nothing of Superman's fate.
At a reception in Lexcorp, owned by bad guy Lex Luther (Rainn Wilson: The
Office; The Meg), Lois bumps into Dr John Henry Irons (Cress Williams),
whom she knows as Steel. She is taking a look around when she is stopped by
Dabney Donovan (voice of Trevor Devall), who works for Luther and has been instrumental
in creating a "new superman", a brash and over-confident clone who refuses to
be called "Superboy" (Cameron Monaghan), despite his youthful looks.
Steel offers his help and support; but more shocks are to come. The new Super
Beings arrive in Metropolis; including a cyborg Superman (Patrick Fabian) who
claims to be the real Superman and tries to convince Lois he is her lost love.
The Justice League Batman (Jason O'Mara: Man In The High Castle; Terra
Nova), The Flash (Christopher Gorham: Covert Affairs; Ugly Betty),
The Green Lantern/Hal Jordan (Nathan Fillion: Castle; ABC's upcoming
The Rookie), Wonder Woman and Steel are aware that terrible things
are coming. They unite to fight the powerful enemy, but they are quickly neutralised.
With no Superman or The Justice League to protect the world, the dark forces
are descending from the shadows. Earth is wide open to receive the evil and
the scheming Lex Luther is the least of the world's troubles. What Mankind needs
now is a miracle…
