DESPERATE FOR MONEY, three friends take part in an immaculately-planned heist where they grab a steel case containing $5 million in top-grade diamonds from a car being driven by a young woman, Mia (Jenna Dewan). One of the men, Vincent Long (Ryan Philippe: Cruel Intentions; Crash), shoots the man who was guarding the case in cold blood.

To the horror of the other two men, the gun is then turned on them and Dave Hall (Brett Granstaff) is killed. Sonny (Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson: Dead Man Running) is left for dead and comes round in Police custody in hospital.

Detained in a tough, violent prison where he has to fight for respect, Sonny serves his time and comes out determined to wreak vengeance on his former friend — when and if he can find him — and get back what he considers is rightfully his.

Sonny finds himself stealing two million dollars from Russian gangsters for dangerous mob boss Mr Biggs (Hollywood megastar Bruce Willis — The Expendables — in top, wise-cracking form) in the company of his right-hand man Petey (UFC legend Randy Courture), with whom he develops an unlikely friendship.

Biggs has heard of Vincent Long and helps Sonny, but as Sonny searches for the man who betrayed him he is also being trailed by a hit man who has everything to lose.

Nobody is quite what they seem and the breathtaking sequence of events leads to the point where some will definitely face the consequences for their actions. Will Sonny find the peace he seeks and at last put his bitterness to rest?

Sonny is a different kind of criminal and so far his luck has held out, but he is crossing paths with brutal and cold-blooded criminals — can he survive long enough to get justice as he sees it? SetUp is a terrific, fast-paced action thriller that keeps you guessing and, when it comes to the crunch, Sonny will be confronted with the biggest decision of his life…

Bruce Willis is at his magnificent best with some great lines and Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson is believable as the good guy who is tempted by 'easy' money.

A great cast brings an extra dimension to their roles and SetUp also features: Jenna Dewan as Mia; James Remar (Dexter) as William Long; Sean Toub as Roth; Ron Turner as Tony; Rory Markham as Markus; Susie Abromeit as Valerie; Jay Karnes as Russell; Will Yun Lee as Joey; and D J Howard as The Priest.

Music by The Newton Brothers; Director of Photography is Steve Gainer, ASC; Written by Mike Gunther and Mike Behrman; Produced by Curtis Jackson, Randall Emmett and George Furla; and Directed by Mike Gunther.
