The Bay of Silence “Having fallen in love with a young
widow, who has delightful twin girls,
a young man's happiness seems to be
complete as they move into a lovely
new home to await the arrival of their
baby; but one day he arrives home to
find his family missing and when he
sets out to discover what happened to
them he is faced with a disturbing truth
and a heartbreaking tragedy in the
intriguing film The Bay of Silence...”

UNABLE TO BELIEVE HIS LUCK in falling in love with Rosalind Palliser (Olga Kurylenko: Quantum of Solace), a beautiful, talented artist who is a widow with adorable twin girls, Harriet (Lilibet Biutanaseva) and Florence (Litiana Biutanaseva), Will Walsh (Claes Bang: Dracula) asks her to marry him while on holiday near The Bay of Silence, Ligaria, Italy.

Eight months later, and with Rosalind expecting their first child together, their happiness seems to be complete as they move to a wonderful new home in a leafy London suburb with their nanny Candy (Shalisha James-Davis).

Disturbing, intriguing,
compelling and
sometimes shocking,
The Bay of Silence
is the story of a young
couple whose perfect
world crumbles;
revealing the
complexities of a young
woman trying to come
to terms with her
abusive past...”
Will is concerned as Rosalind, following a fall after which she prematurely gives birth to their son Amadeo (played by both Marlowe Jarrett and Sienna Simpson), keeps insisting there was another baby, a twin who was taken away from her, which the hospital denies.

Will's life begins to unravel as he sees that Rosalind is troubled by nightmares and finds her clawing at the wall. Rosalind's disturbing past has been hidden from him; secrets kept by her mother Vivian (Alice Krige: Star Trek First Contact) and former stepfather Milton (Golden Gobe-winner Brian Cox: The Bourne Identity), who dismiss Rosalind's actions as "baby blues". They both have their reasons for wanting to protect her.

On his return from business in Newcastle, a distraught Will discovers Rosalind, Candy and the children have disappeared and nobody seems to know where they have gone. The only clue is in a suitcase delivered to Rosalind that contains a camera and photographs of her when she was a young girl (young Rosalind is played by Kirsten Davies), taken by the late renowned artist J B Raven at his home, Bel Rêve, in France.

Will sets off on a frantic search across Europe, determined to find his family and Candy. He finally ends up in Northern France at Raven's house, which has long been boarded up, and where he is watched closely by a stranger former prison inmate Pierre Laurent (Assad Bouab). What Will finds at the house will bring him distress, relief, tragedy and finally the answer to his wife's alarming behaviour.
